The Language of Sand...

Really hard for me to read since the central figure lost her home in a fire. There were several parallels to the loss and the emotions, the sense of detachment... However, I was distracted by the big words (there because the book is about a lexicographer. The story was ok, the writing itself was ok, but all around the resolution was anticlimactic, and I wished that it had been pushed further. I'd give it a C.
