Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet

Read.

Sad. But really good. I know this isn't my most eloquent waxing about a novel. But you know what? It was a good read. I had a hard time getting into the 1942 / 1986 flip back and forth chapters, but I understand it had a purpose, and it all wrapped up very nicely. Excellent story, informative about the war time and the conflict between the Chinese and Japanese both abroad and the second generation Americans. Sad to think about the Japanese American families moved from their homes just because they were Japanese ethnicity. BAH! But yes, a good book. B+
